Geographic Features

As we have been studying, there are many kinds of natural geographic features. Some examples are mountains, rivers, volcanoes, canyons, and glaciers.



How do geographical features impact the lives of people that live near them??

Geographic features can have both a positive AND negative impact on people.

TASK:
- Working in pairs, you will visit the websites below. After reading about volcanoes, you should complete the chart in your notes.
-Once you are done, answer the following question on looseleaf (TO BE COLLECTED) "Would you want to live near a volcano? Why or why not? Be sure to answer using the RACE method!!
